Next, the Red Devils confront the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge, on Tuesday, March 29. Newton-Conover will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Maiden (Maiden, NC).

The Wolves now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Bandys for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Lincolnton will confront a Trojans team coming off a 3-2 league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 3-0.
