The Athens Academy Spartans baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Alcovy Tigers to 4 in the Spartans league victory on Thursday.
The Spartans (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Putnam County (Eatonton, GA). The War Eagles go into the match with a 6-4 record.
The Tigers (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Woodland (Stockbridge, GA). The Wolfpack go into the non-league match with a 4-2 record.
