In Thursday's non-league game, the host Notre Dame Prep Saints baseball team scored a tight 14-7 victory over the Columbine Rebels.
The Saints (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Queen Creek tipped Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ), 19-2, in a non-league game.
