Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hart County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 26.

With the loss, Monroe County falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Franklin County (Winchester, TN) to face the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 25. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 2-1.
