Everett Alvarez Eagles (Salinas, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Carmel Padres (Carmel, CA), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Santa Catalina for a PCAL - Mission challenge on Monday, March 28. Everett Alvarez will face a Cougars squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to St. Francis (Watsonville, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Carmel falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Padres host North Monterey County (Castroville, CA) to face the Condors in a PCAL - Gabilan challenge on Monday, March 28. The Condors enter the challenge with a record of 10-3.
