California High School Softball - Cupertino bounces Palo Alto

Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA), 13-2 in a league challenge.

The Pioneers now own a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they host Monta Vista for a El Camino challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Cupertino will battle a Matadors squad coming off a 16-2 league win over Lynbrook (San Jose, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Palo Alto falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA) to battle the Saints in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 26. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Santa Teresa won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Grove (San Jose, CA)
