The Irvine Vaqueros routed the host Laguna Hills Hawks softball squad by a final score of 7-0 in Thursday's league battle.
The Vaqueros (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against La Serna (Whittier, CA). The Lancers go into the non-league battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, La Serna was routed by Norco (Norco, CA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
The Hawks now possess a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Northwood for a Pacific Coast battle on Tuesday, March 29.
