Lake Placid Dragons (Lake Placid, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sebring Blue Streaks (Sebring, FL), 10-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Dragons now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Meade for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 28. Lake Placid will face a Miners squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Haines City (Haines City, FL). The Miners record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Sebring falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Blue streaks travel to Hardee (Wauchula, FL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 5-3. Hardee won 7-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Port Charlotte (Port Charlotte, FL)
