In Thursday's league contest, the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS) softball team overwhelmed the host Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS), by a margin of 17-3.
With the triumph, Northeast Lauderdale moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Trojans travel to Meridian (Meridian, MS) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 29. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 6-8. Meridian lost 14-2 in their recent non-league contest against Yazoo County (Yazoo City, MS)
