The St. Paul Swordsmen softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Mary Star of the Sea Stars to 5 in the Swordsmen league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, St. Paul moves its record to 10-7 on the year. The Swordsmen travel to Schurr (Montebello, CA) to play the Spartans in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 29. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 16-1. Schurr won 11-0 in their recent league game against San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA)

In their next game, the Stars play the Saint Joseph Jesters (Lakewood, CA) in a Del Rey game, on Tuesday, March 29. Mary Star of the Sea will attempt to move on its 8-10 season record. The Jesters come into the game with a 3-12 record after their 14-0 league loss to Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA).
