Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils (Kimberly, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Spain Park Jaguars (Hoover, AL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they host Springboro for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 28.

With the loss, Spain Park falls to 19-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Sumiton Christian (Sumiton, AL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 4. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-5.
