The crowd at Thursday's league match between the New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, MS) and the host North Pontotoc Vikings (Ecru, MS), saw New Albany's softball squad nip North Pontotoc by a count of 8-6.
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Union for a non-league match on Friday, March 25.
With the loss, North Pontotoc falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Friday, March 25. The Indians enter the match with a record of 7-4. Itawamba Agricultural won 12-0 in their recent league match against Shannon (Shannon, MS)
