South Bend (South Bend, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Winlock Cardinals (Winlock, WA), 21-7 in a non-league challenge.

The now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Beach for a 2B Pacific challenge on Tuesday, March 29.

With the loss, Winlock falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Stevenson (Stevenson, WA) to face the Bulldogs in a 2B Central challenge on Monday, April 18. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
