In Thursday's league contest, the White River Hornets (Buckley, WA) softball team overwhelmed the host Steilacoom Sentinels (Steilacoom, WA), by a margin of 11-1.

With the triumph, White River moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Hornets host Fife (Fife, WA) to play the Trojans in a 2A South Puget Sound contest on Tuesday, March 29. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 4-3. Fife lost 11-7 in their recent league contest against Enumclaw (Enumclaw, WA)

In their next game, the Sentinels play the North Thurston Rams (Lacey, WA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 1. Steilacoom will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record.
