The Oak Grove Grizzlies the visiting Asheboro Blue Comets baseball team by a count of 9-5 in Friday's league bout.
The Grizzlies now possess a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Davidson for a Mid-Piedmont 3A bout on Tuesday, March 28. Oak Grove will face a Black Knights team coming off a 11-1 league win over Montgomery Central (Troy, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 6-4.
Next, the Blue Comets face the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A bout, on Tuesday, March 28. Asheboro will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 5-5 record after their 8-1 league loss to Ledford (Thomasville, NC).
