In Friday's league game, the host Ysleta Indians baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Bel Air Highlanders.
The Indians (7-11) will now prepare for their game against Horizon (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions go into the 5A Region I District 2 game with a 7-7 record. In their last game, Horizon overcame Hanks (El Paso, TX), 15-7, in a league game.
The Highlanders (5-11) will now prepare for their game against Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Matadors go into the 5A Region I District 2 game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Parkland was overwhelmed by Del Valle (El Paso, TX), 18-2, in a league game.
