In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Boyd County Lions baseball team scored a tight 12-10 victory over the Lafayette Generals.
The Lions (4-0) will now prepare for their game against East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Raiders go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, East Carter tipped Huntington (Huntington, WV), 6-5, in a non-league game.
