The Lowndes Vikings crushed the host Colquitt County Packers baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chiles for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 28. Lowndes will face a Timberwolves team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Bishop Kenny (Jacksonville, FL). The Timberwolves record now stands at 3-8.
Next, the Packers face the Valdosta Wildcats (Valdosta, GA) in a 7A Area 1 bout, on Tuesday, March 28. Colquitt County will attempt to move on its 8-10 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 12-6 record after their 9-7 league win over Camden County (Kingsland, GA).
