Arizona High School Baseball - Cortez loses to Vista Grande

The Vista Grande Spartans crushed the host Cortez Colts baseball team by a count of 13-1 in Friday's league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 25. Vista Grande will face a Eagles team coming off a 7-6 league loss to American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 5-7.

Next, the Colts face the Vista Grande Spartans (Casa Grande, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon bout, on Monday, March 27. Cortez will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 6-7 record after their 10-0 non-league win over American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ).
