In Friday's league game, the host Cypress Woods Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Cypress Lakes Spartans.
The Wildcats (18-3) will now prepare for their game against Langham Creek (Houston, TX). The Lobos go into the 6A Region II District 16 game with a 4-13 record.
The Spartans (3-11) will now prepare for their game against Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX). The Panthers go into the 6A Region II District 16 game with a 10-8 record. In their last game, Cypress Springs was overwhelmed by Cypress Ranch (Houston, TX), 2-1, in a league game.
