Georgia High School Baseball - Sumter County loses to Fitzgerald

In Friday's league game, the visiting Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane baseball team scored a nice 13-0 victory over the Sumter County Panthers.
The Purple Hurricane (10-7) will now prepare for their game against Berrien (Nashville, GA). The Rebels go into the 2A Area 1 game with a 7-11 record. In their last game, Berrien was overwhelmed by Pierce County (Blackshear, GA), 10-8, in a non-league game.
The Panthers (3-11) will now prepare for their game against Webster County (Preston, GA). The go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Webster County was overwhelmed by Schley County (Ellaville, GA), 16-0, in a league game.
