California High School Baseball - Seaside loses to Greenfield

The Seaside Spartans baseball team (Seaside, CA), was overwhelmed 9-1 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Greenfield Bruins (Greenfield, CA)

The Bruins now hold a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gonzales for a PCAL - Cypress outing on Tuesday, March 28. Greenfield will confront a Spartans team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over North Monterey County (Castroville, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.

Next, the Spartans confront the Stevenson Pirates (Pebble Beach, CA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, April 6. Seaside will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Pirates go into the outing with a 4-2 record after their 5-2 league win over North Monterey County (Castroville, CA).
