North Carolina High School Baseball - Hobbton loses to Rosewood

March 24, 2023: Goldsboro, NC 27530

The Hobbton Wildcats baseball team (Newton Grove, NC), was overwhelmed 14-4 in Friday's league outing with the host Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC)

The Eagles now hold a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Princeton for a non-league outing on Monday, March 27. Rosewood will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 18-4 league win over Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-6.

Next, the Wildcats face the Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC) in a Carolina 1A outing, on Tuesday, March 28. Hobbton will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Leopards enter the outing with a 3-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to North Duplin (Calypso, NC).
