North Carolina High School Baseball - Northeastern loses to Holmes

The Northeastern Eagles baseball team (Elizabeth City, NC), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC)

The Aces now hold a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pasquotank County for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A outing on Tuesday, March 28. Holmes will confront a Panthers team coming off a 11-1 league win over Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-1.

Next, the Eagles confront the Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A outing, on Tuesday, March 28. Northeastern will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Bears go into the outing with a 1-8 record after their 18-0 non-league loss to Menchville (Newport News, VA).
