North Carolina High School Baseball - West Charlotte loses to Hopewell

The Hopewell Titans crushed the visiting West Charlotte Lions baseball team by a count of 16-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Titans now possess a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host East Mecklenburg for a non-league bout on Monday, March 27. Hopewell will face a Eagles team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Butler (Matthews, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-6.

Next, the Lions face the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) in a Queen City 3A/4A bout, on Tuesday, March 28. West Charlotte will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Huskies enter the bout with a 10-2 record after their 11-4 non-league win over South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
