Virginia High School Baseball - Middlesex nips Lancaster

Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Middlesex upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Chargers host Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 28. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 4-2. Rappahannock won 12-5 in their recent non-league test against Northern Bedford County (Loysburg, PA)

With the defeat, Lancaster falls to 2-2 on the season. The Red devils host King William (King William, VA) to battle the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Thursday, March 30. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 2-2.
