North Carolina High School Baseball - Northside - Pinetown wallops Lejeune

Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Northside - Pinetown Panthers (Pinetown, NC) and the visiting Lejeune Devil Pups (Camp Lejeune, NC), saw Northside - Pinetown's baseball squad knock off Lejeune by a count of 16-1.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC) in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A battle, on Tuesday, March 28. Northside - Pinetown will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Seahawks enter the battle with a 6-5 record after their 16-2 league loss to East Carteret (Beaufort, NC).

The Devil Pups now possess a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Pamlico County for a Coastal Plains 1A/2A battle on Tuesday, March 28. Lejeune will play a Hurricanes squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Jones (Trenton, NC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 6-4.
