Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) and the visiting Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC), saw Maiden's baseball squad knock off Lincolnton by a count of 8-0.
Coming up next, the Blue Devils play the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A contest, on Tuesday, March 28. Maiden will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Red Devils come into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 8-7 league loss to Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC).
