With the win, Portal upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Panthers host Jenkins County (Millen, GA) to battle the War Eagles in a 1A D-II Area 3 test on Tuesday, March 28. The War Eagles come into the test with a record of 8-10. Jenkins County lost 6-3 in their recent league test against Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA)

With the defeat, McIntosh County Academy falls to 12-7 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA) to battle the Eagles in a 1A D-II Area 3 test on Tuesday, March 28. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-11. Montgomery County won 18-3 in their recent non-league test against Hephzibah (Hephzibah, GA)
