Georgia High School Baseball - Model defeats North Murray

March 24, 2023: Chatsworth, GA 30705

The Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) baseball trounced the host North Murray Mountaineers (Chatsworth, GA), 8-0 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils play the Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA) in a 2A Area 7 contest, on Tuesday, March 28. Model will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 1-13 record after their 6-0 league loss to Rockmart (Rockmart, GA).

The Mountaineers now sport a 1-14 record. They take the field next when they host Fannin County for a 2A Area 7 contest on Saturday, March 25. North Murray will play a Rebels squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 8-6.
