In Friday's non-league game, the host North Greene Huskies baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the South Greene Rebels.
The Huskies (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Unaka (Elizabethton, TN). The Rangers go into the 1A District 1 game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Unaka was edged by Fulton (Knoxville, TN), 15-5, in a non-league game.
The Rebels (4-3) will now prepare for their game against University (Johnson City, TN). The Buccaneers go into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, University was edged by Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN), 11-1, in a non-league game.
