Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA) and the host Peach County Trojans (Fort Valley, GA), saw Pike County's baseball squad knock off Peach County by a count of 10-0.

Coming up next, the Pirates play the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) in a 3A Area 2 battle, on Tuesday, April 4. Pike County will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record.

The Trojans now possess a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carver for a non-league battle on Monday, March 27. Peach County will play a Tigers squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to Thomasville (Thomasville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-13.
