In Friday's league game, the visiting Pinewood Christian Patriots baseball team scored a tight 8-4 victory over the Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats.
The Patriots (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Gatewood (Eatonton, GA). The Gators go into the non-league game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, Gatewood tipped First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA), 9-2, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats (5-8) will now prepare for their game against St. Andrew's (Savannah, GA). The Lions go into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 game with a 1-10 record. In their last game, St. Andrew's was overwhelmed by Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA), 16-8, in a league game.
