North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Porter Ridge drops to Cuthbertson

March 24, 2023: Waxhaw, NC 28173

Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), 23-4 in a league battle.

The Cavaliers now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Weddington for a Southern Carolina/Rocky River battle on Monday, March 27. Cuthbertson will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Sun Valley (Monroe, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 7-3.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River battle, on Monday, March 27. Porter Ridge will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Mavericks come into the battle with a 6-4 record after their 23-0 league win over Parkwood (Monroe, NC).
