Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs face the White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC) in a Coastal 3A challenge, on Tuesday, March 28. Dixon will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to East Carteret (Beaufort, NC).

The Patriots now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host South Columbus for a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge on Wednesday, March 29. Pender will face a Stallions team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 2-6.
