The Shelby Golden Lions baseball team (Shelby, NC), was overwhelmed 19-1 in Friday's non-league outing with the host East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC)

The Warriors now hold a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forestview for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 29.

Next, the Golden Lions confront the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 3. Shelby will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record.
