In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Horizon Hawks baseball team scored a tight 12-7 victory over the Montverde Academy Eagles.
The Hawks (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Umatilla (Umatilla, FL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Umatilla tipped Wekiva (Apopka, FL), 14-5, in a non-league game.
