In Friday's non-league outing, the host South Iredell Vikings softball team scored a close 7-6 win over the Lake Norman Wildcats.
Coming up next, the Vikings encounter the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, April 5. South Iredell will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Blue Devils enter the non-league outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Mooresville tipped Weddington (Matthews, NC), 7-2, in a non-league outing.
