Kentucky High School Lacrosse - Cooper drops to Walton-Verona

March 24, 2023: Union, KY 41091

Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY), 14-2 in a league test.

The Bearcats now have a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Elder for a non-league test on Monday, March 27. Walton-Verona will face a Panthers squad coming off a 16-3 league win over Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.

In their next game, the Jaguars face the North Oldham Mustangs (Goshen, KY) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 27. Cooper will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record.
