The Croatan Cougars lacrosse team scored 18 points and held the visiting West Carteret Patriots to 1 in the Cougars league win on Friday.
The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Swansboro (Swansboro, NC). The Pirates go into the Coastal/Northeastern Coastal game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Swansboro was overwhelmed by First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC), 13-9, in a league game.
The Patriots (4-4) will now prepare for their game against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Nighthawks go into the Coastal/Northeastern Coastal game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, First Flight prevailed over Swansboro (Swansboro, NC), 13-9, in a league game.
