The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) and the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), saw Cuthbertson's lacrosse team gain a win over Porter Ridge by a margin of 11-9.

The Cavaliers (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Warriors enter the Southern Carolina/Rocky River challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Weddington was nudged by Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC), 16-3, in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Mavericks enter the Southern Carolina/Rocky River challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Marvin Ridge edged Bexley (Columbus, OH), 18-5, in a non-league challenge.
