In Friday's league battle, the visiting Blacksburg Bruins soccer squad scored a close 2-0 win over the Cave Spring Knights.
The Bruins (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Fleming nipped Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Blue Demons go into the River Ridge battle with a 4-0 record.
