The crowd at Friday's league match between the Lake Creek Lions (Montgomery, TX) and the visiting A&M Consolidated Tigers (College Station, TX), saw Lake Creek's softball squad achieve victory over A&M Consolidated by a count of 11-1.
The Lions now sport a 25-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rudder for a 5A Region III District 21 match on Tuesday, March 28. Lake Creek will face a Rangers squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to College Station (College Station, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 9-12.
With the loss, A&M Consolidated falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Brenham (Brenham, TX) to face the Cubs in a 5A Region III District 21 match on Tuesday, April 4. The Cubs enter the match with a record of 19-7.
