The High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC) softball routed the host Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles (Greensboro, NC), 24-17 in Friday's league bout.
The Bison (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC). The Camels go into the Mid-State 3A bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Atkins was routed by Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC), 10-6, in a league bout.
