The Benbrook Bobcats routed the visiting Western Hills Cougars softball squad by a count of 14-3 in Friday's league battle.

The Bobcats (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Dunbar (Fort Worth, TX). The Wildcats go into the 4A Region II District 9 battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Dunbar was routed by Diamond Hill-Jarvis (Fort Worth, TX), 15-0, in a league battle.

The Cougars now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern Hills for a 4A Region II District 9 battle on Tuesday, March 28. Western Hills will meet a Highlanders squad coming off a 24-9 league loss to Dunbar (Fort Worth, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-5.
