The Lake View Chiefs softball team (San Angelo, TX), was routed 14-1 in Friday's league test with the visiting Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX)

Coming up next, the Steers clash with the Sweetwater Mustangs (Sweetwater, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 test, on Tuesday, March 28. Big Spring will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 5-7 record after their 10-5 league win over Snyder (Snyder, TX).

The Chiefs (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Levelland (Levelland, TX). The Lobos come into the 4A Region I District 5 test with a 19-4 record. In their last test, Levelland overcame Estacado (Lubbock, TX), 12-3, in a league test.
