The crowd at Friday's league match between the Grafton Clippers (Yorktown, VA) and the visiting Bruton Panthers (Williamsburg, VA), saw Grafton's softball squad achieve victory over Bruton by a count of 16-1.

The Clippers now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tabb for a Bay Rivers match on Monday, March 27. Grafton will face a Tigers squad coming off a 14-2 league win over Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Bruton falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA) to face the Eagles in a Bay Rivers match on Monday, March 27. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 0-3. Jamestown lost 14-0 in their recent league match against Warhill (Williamsburg, VA)
