In Friday's league contest, the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) softball team overwhelmed the host Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC), by a margin of 13-0.
With the triumph, Catawba Ridge moves its record to 11-2 on the year. The Copperheads host South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC) to play the Stallions in a AAAA Region 3 contest on Tuesday, March 28. The Stallions come into the contest with a record of 0-4.
In their next game, the Trojans play the York Cougars (York, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 contest, on Tuesday, April 11. Northwestern will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
