North Carolina High School Softball - Central Cabarrus can't hold off East Rowan

The Central Cabarrus Vikings softball team (Concord, NC), was tipped 2-1 in Friday's league test with the host East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC)

Coming up next, the Mustangs clash with the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A test, on Tuesday, March 28. East Rowan will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 6-3 record after their 10-0 league win over Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC).

The Vikings (7-2) will now prepare for their test against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Falcons come into the South Piedmont 3A test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, West Rowan edged Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC), 19-3, in a league test.
