Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC), 11-2 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host East Henderson for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 30.

With the loss, East Rutherford falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Brevard (Brevard, NC) to battle the Blue Devils in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 7-2. Brevard lost 5-4 in their recent league challenge against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC)
